Happy New Year! I guess we really enjoyed our Christmas vacation that some of us are still adjusting. And that's true, I really had a wonderful Christmas vacation.
Before having our Christmas vacation we celebrated one of the most awaited celebration of students--the Christmas program. I really enjoyed our last Christmas program in the high school. There were pictures-takings, lots of games to be played, food and most especially giving gifts of love to friends and special persons to us.
Comes the Christmas day. I celebrated the Christmas at our house with my family. During the Christmas eve I helped mother prepare our simple noche buena. Greetings of merry Christmas from friends and relatives were arriving through text messages. Kids, teenagers and olds were singing Christmas carols from house to house. And we also received our "pamasko" from our Aunties and Uncles, Ninongs and Ninangs.
Last December 29 we also celebrated our Christmas ball at our barangay plaza. It was very happy because once in a year, all the sitios in our barangay gather together to celebrate Christmas. We, the SK in our sitio prepared the food. The program started at 8:00 p.m. There were dancing with partners, jolly games, eating and ofcourse lively music that kept the ball rolling. We end up about 1o'clock already in the morning.
And finally comes the New Year. During the New Year's eve, I arranged the round fruits in a basin and placed it in the table. I also helped mother prepare our simple media noche. When 12o'clock arrived, we are all creating noise. I together with my little brother and cousins also jumped. Together we lighted different kinds of firecrackers and fountain. We also watched beautiful fireworks in the sky. I really enjoyed my christmas and new year celebration..
