My Semestral Break??

Sembreak..What a pleasing word to here.'Cause we all know it's a time for us to have our vacation--a time to relax and enjoy. It is really the perfect time to have a vacation especially for us,who have just finished the examination.

I guess this was the saddest sembreak I've ever had. It is for the reason that, my Auntie, a sister of my mom, passed away last October 22, the day just before our periodical test. And we really felt sad because of that. And because of this, I almost spend my sembreak staying in our family house.

But of course,this is still my sembreak. So I made it to the point that I will still enjoy it. And it was! It is because of my family, and relatives, whom I again met after a long time. It seemed that we had a family reunion. I had really a great time being with them, especially with my cousins.

Something to be Proud of..

We started our lesson in ICT for the 2nd grading period with an introduction to HTML. But before we started our lesson, we already had two excercises. And those are making HTML files. I guess, doing those exercises before having the formal discussion really helps me to easily understood our lesson.

At first, I was bored in making an HTML file using the notepad because of the several tags to be typed. But as I have discovered the functions of those tags, I learned to enjoy typing them. And after saving the file, I really felt excited browsing it on the internet explorer to see its outcome.

As we goes on with our lessons, I will still do my best, not only to maintain a good grade but also because I believed that I can learn much from this subject.

I have also great experiences outside ICT. One is during the celebration of the English Olympics, wherein we, the English club officers, facilitated the the said event. I really enjoyed facilitating in the different contests especially in the spelling bee, declamation, quiz bee and extemporaneous speaking. I really learned much by facilitating in those contests. Our school is really full of talented students! And I'm very proud that the English club helps in molding those talents. I can really say that our club deserved to exist.

I also salute our athletes (especially my fellow Seniors) during the Intramurals. I have seen their full dedication to their games but after all, they have still the so called "sportsmanship", which should be possessed in every competition. These are only some proofs that we have a lot of reasons to be proud of our school!

Strive Harder!

Time flies really fast, we are now in the 2nd Grading Period. I have learned a lot from the past grading period. Every end of the day, I really felt happy and satisfied knowing that I've done or learned something good in my studies. I also felt very satisfied and relaxed after seeing the outcome of my assignments, outputs and projects. And after knowing the results of my periodical tests, I can really say to myself that all the sleepless nights are worthed.

I was a little bit hard up with my two advanced subjects-Advanced Physics and Advanced Chemistry. But I'm still doing my best because these subjects are really challenging.

I will never give up in the trials that I am encountering. I know that nothing starts easy,everything begins at a level of difficulty. And I know that, what is the most difficult is also the most rewarding and most satisfying if i would be able to surpass it.

This was really a good start to me. And i will still strive harder for the next grading periods!!

My Very Satisfying Job!

I have already learned or discovered a lot since the start of the S.Y 2008-2009 up to nowas a fourth year student. I am the Vice President of the English club and I am really proud of it. I have already joined different school activities such as the tree planting and the launching of our action plans. And these are all because of my committment to my club.

The problem or challenge that I have encountered was in the managemsent of my time,for me to accomplished what is assigned to me. It was a little bit hard to me because, I am also busy with my academic subjects and I am not much exposed to some of the tasks that was assigned to me.

I was able to addressed my self to these challenges by believing in my self and gaining self-confidence that I can do whatever is assigned to me. It was also becaused of the help given by my fellow English club officers and most especially with the support of our very active English club advisers.

Moving on, I will learn to adjust my self to my new responsibilities, and to satisfy the persons around me. and most especially, to serve our school! . .

ICT is fun!

The new learnings or discoveries that I have learned from ICT IV were about the Internet,the history of Internet,uses of Internet,advantages and disadvantages of Internet. I have also learned how to create my own yahoo-mail. We also established the essense of cooperation during the Nutrition Food Festival where in we won the first place.

The problem or challenge that I have encountered was in creating my own yahoo mail, since that was the first time that I've done that.

But with the help of some of my classmates and most especially with the help of my ICT IV teacher I was able to addressed to this problem.

Moving on,I will do my best to learn more about ICT IV. And learn how to used these learnings in my everyday life. .
